Sage IrvineVisited the office yesterday - depress

Sage Irvine Visited the office yesterday - depressing to say the least. No receptionist and confusing instructions as to how to reach anyone. Someone from support happened to be leaving so I asked her what to do. She had her manager come out and we wandered around looking for the meeting I was supposed to be in for a presentation. The place really reminds me of the offices from failed startup/dotcom companies when we used to do bankruptcy support. Not a good image, if they are even trying. None of the people look very happy either - surrounded by empty desks.

Someone emailed me a few weeks back ""Hey I heard they closed Irvine"" to which I replied I don't think they ""closed"" but my vision of the situation is similar to your description. Just wait until Sage start talking non-stop about global partners at Summit and how they have these wonderful global partner programs and communities. That will make the air more cloudy.

Hey, did you pick up any mouse pads that had been left behind?? Probably a little quieter than when they played the music video at Summit a few years ago.... Come on Atlanta!!!

I miss the days of that friendly receptionist (forget her name) and those cool stuffed dolls

I bet more than 75% of those people are gone

I don't think Sage uses the placards' verbs & adjectives anymore. And the global partner talk at Summit will be confusing.

I see Rob Larsh making a cameo, and he's still there.

I remember the good old days with the stuffed dolls - back when Sage was at 56 Technology.

My view of the office aligned with Wayne's. It's not like they were quiet about moving everything to Atlanta.

Based upon job postings in LinkedIn - Sage will open a Salesforce Communities which is likely going to be for Global Partners. Whether they retrofit this to their legacy partners is something we will have to learn. I see this as being more confusion for their existing channel who they probably (correctly) presume are consolidating so quickly that it's not a big deal of some portions of the smaller VARS are pissed.

Is that what we are - legacy partners?

Maybe they will call us Diversified Partners since they seem to have chosen the Diversified label to replace what they were referring to as Heritage. Source: Half-Year earnings call.

So, if I start snapchatting can I be in the cool partner group?
