  • 1.  Sage Inventory Advisor BASICS No Longer Included With Some Sage 100 Versions?

    I had a customer yesterday tell me they think they received a mailing from Sage saying that Sage Inventory Advisor Basics ( SIA ) was not going to be a part of their bundle any longer. I am not sure if this is new. I thought some time ago that Sage may have reduced the number of items you could run through SIA Basics but can't remember hearing that it was no longer included as a benefit ( I think for those on Gold subscription/support ).

    Anyone hear anything -- or even better have a copy of an announcement?

    @Wayne Schulz I have not seen an announcement that Sage was going to take it away from existing customers.  However, the Sage Order Form was updated on 6/30/2020 and removed SIA Basics from new orders:

    I was able to get info from a customer on a voicemail they say was left by a Sage rep: 

    Reason for the call is just to let you guys know that the basics version of sage inventory advisor you currently have access to will sunset in the near future to the company wide brand refresh project actually are eligible to upgrade to the full version of essay at a significantly discounted cost. I'd love to chat with you further to provide details on this initiative review your 2022 inventory planning goals or minimum you probably learn something try to send you an email as well.

    I hesitate to base anything off a sales call so I'm unsure whether this indicates that those users on Sage 100 Gold ( this customer is ) might soon lose the SIA Basic.
