Customer started getting "ProvideX ODBC Driver Timeout Expired error. SI KB yields no hits.
We have rebooted the workstation. Shut off the CS ODBC driver service at the server and restarted (this did speed up crystal reports). Verified the DLL's (Bi Generator, Report Designer Add in 1.2.0 and Report Designer Add in 1.2.0 Custom Task Pane helper) appear in Excel.
Have NOT rebooted the server (too many users).
This seems like a network speed issue. Do I ping the server and look for slow response time? Something else? Need something to point the IT folks to.
