We have a customer who is using Sage 100 on a hosted cloud server. Think of it like a terminal server where all users log into the server to access Sage 100. There are no workstation installs on their local computers.
One user runs their Sage Intelligence report for financials (works fine on the cloud server), and saved it to their local workstation. Just this week, the user's IT Team upgraded her computer to Windows 10. Prior to the upgrade, she was able to open the SI Reports in Excel and modify them like normal as if she was on the cloud server. However, after the upgrade, all the cells have #NAME?.
I was able to replicate this on my local workstation, but noticed I did not have the report designer add-in active. I have since activated them and the report appears to be calculating, but at a rate of 1% every 15 minutes. After speaking with Sage Support about this, the process is of course not supported by Sage, but all he could tell me was to have the workstation installed on her local workstation. But at the rate it's taking my computer to run the report, this isn't a viable option. Emailing or saving the file with Static Values is not an option either as the data and format must be modified after it's run.
Has anyone experienced this before with Windows 10? If so, what have you done to improve the performance of the saved reports? Any other tips/tricks that could help? Thanks,
Chris
