Sage Intelligence Report Viewer only? Would like to have the report viewer as the only option on a user's workstation. Seems that you could setup a short cut using \\servername\sageintelligence\SMI450\BISignOn.Exe VWR but after running this the following two errors occur. It does not seem to matter if I use a UNC or mapped drive to the MAS data directory. Do I have to install SI to just get the viewer?

Never mind, answer was behind tab 2 needed to set the report repository directory. Once I did that the report viewer launches.

Never mind the never mind...I'm still getting those errors when I launch a report from the viewer. What to do?

I believe each user that wants to use the Report Viewer, will need to purchase a Report Viewer License.

Thanks @MadelineStefanou they have the nearly unlimited viewer license edition.

as far as I know Moira you do need to install Sage Intelligence to use any part of Sage Intelligence. When you open it up the first time you should be able to tell SI to use a viewer license. Then if they try to open the manager or connector it should tell them it is just a viewer license

Thanks @EricAnderson - the lack of the selection for viewer only at install was what was stopping me, if that occurs post install then all is good.
