Sage Intelligence question: Does the distribution piece allow you to specify the export to be a text file with semicolon field delimiter and file name customized by year and period? Customer has new reporting/upload requirements to parent corp and I am trying to figure out best way to automate...

I'm not sure how you'd do that Phil. Format options for distribution instructions (on email, file publish, and FTP tabs) are xlsx, xls, pdf, and mht

Are you looking to email the file or send to an FTP location?

@NicoleRonchetti - Email at the moment, could be changed. @EricAnderson - Thanks! I was hoping there might be some undocumented trick. Customer wants as close to a ""one button"" solution as possible, and I'd rather sell them my programming than Sage's anyway:-)

I almost always use Crystal and Logicity for emailing custom reports and scheduling. I know they have the ability to do tab and comma delimited files off of crystal but am not sure if they could do a semicolon delimiter. May be worth an email to the company since its so easy to use.

A VBA macro with a pass-through query would give the one button function in Excel.

@MyronStevenson - For 15 reports on 15 different sheets, each saved to its own delimited text file?
