Sage Intelligence - Internal Use
We are finally upgrading our ""MAS 200"" 4.30 to Sage 100 v2016 for the firm and our Consulting Group. We are also converting all FRx financial reports to Sage Intelligence, and will probably also use SI for other operational and sales reports. So I discovered that as resellers we only are licensed for 1 Report Manager. I innocently asked if we could just have unlimited SI users, not knowing what that was going to unleash at Sage! No less than 5 people at Sage got involved, so I told my RAM that this is bureaucratic nonsense and now it was impacting my time to sell Sage products. Apparently Sage still has to pay royalties, even though the Alchemex people are now part of Sage unless they left, so probably part of this goes to Gary Boddington. I settled for 5 total Report Managers.
