  • 1.  Sage Intelligence doesn't accept UNC path that works in Windows Exporer

    Sage 100 Advanced 2022 in Azure (recently moved from another hosting provider):  The UNC path for the Sage Intelligence repository works on the Sage server, but on the RDS server it gets rejected.  Even if you select it by navigating to Network, server, share, etc. it just goes away and pops back up with the blank repository selection screen..

    Any ideas?

    You probably don't have rights to write to the local file that stores the repository - it's not the path that's the issue.  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BI folders

    Domain Users now have full control of these 4 folders, still not accepting the path.  @Beth Bowers, was this what you meant?

    If you run Sage icon As Admin, does it work then?

    Got it solved.  It was permissions on the C:\Program Data\Sage Software\SageMASIntelligence22 folder wouldn't let changes to config.ini get stored.

    I ran into this at client commenting about 1980 security (see other posts).  Just one of those gotchas that we have to deal with!
