I have a SI workbook that contains several sheet tabs.  SI can be configured to distribute each sheet to a separate folder with a separate file name.  I want to add the month and year to the file name.  Has anyone set up an SI distribution using a bat file or other method that will allow me to add the month and year to the file name?

I can get each sheet of the Excel workbook to export to a separate folder with a separate file name.  I know how to use a bat file to rename the file and add the month and year but this method requires two steps: step one to run the SI distribution then step two to execute the bat file to rename the pdf report file adding the month and year.

@Doug Higgs are you trying to have it use the actual date, or the date from the data on the Excel sheet?

If it's the former, have you tried using the same variables Report Manager allows when running a report (Tools > Variables for the list) something like 'mysheet_@DATE@'?

@Michelle Forsey I would like to use a month and year from an Excel cell but "today's" date would suffice.  I have a distribution set up in Excel / SI add in to "file publish" each Excel sheet.  Each sheet has a different file name and gets published to a separate Windows folder.  I have a list of the system variables, and I have tried (unsuccessfully) adding @DATE@ to the file name.  It works great if the reports are published via email but that is not what I want to do.

Currently I have a bat file set up to re-name the published pdf file to add a date.  This works great however the drawback is that there are two steps: 1. run the reports and then run the distribution program, then 2. Run the bat file from Windows.  It works but I would love to have one bat file that runs everything.
