Sage 100

Sage Intelligence Certification Now that we are selling the new SI bundle and opting out of the ""Sage Installation"", I'm being asked if we are certified. No, but we know how to install this stuff. I remember the discussion here that Debbie Hill said it would be rolled out in January, but there were no communications to the channel that I received. I did find the cert in SageU. Sure, Sage, here's another $1K - will that help the stock price?

And what does the certification get you for now -- just the ability to opt-out of Sage install? Wouldn't it be easier to let Sage do the grunt work install -- which might include stepping on some initial installation landmines?

Apparently nothing is being enforced at this point, but they may start, and may choose to tell us. For consultants who have never installed SI, yes, this could be a challenge, but once you've done one, it's not an issue. And we may decide to charge amounts per module or user, with a higher total than the Sage $395. If we are normally involved with installation and maintenance of the software, we really don't want someone else messing with it.

but with 2014 it installs with the Sage 100 install?????
