We are experiencing an issue with a client using office 365 subscription with Sage intelligence. This started happening in the last 2 weeks, but when they run the sage intelligence report an activation message appears prompting for product key or log in. We have tried to log in and receive an error but the excel is activated and we can work in it outside of sage intelligence reports.
    They are on 2021 P5.
We have worked with Microsoft and Sage and with no luck.
    Any insight is greatly appreciated.

    John,

This may not be the solution; however, I have a customer who has twice encountered an unexpected issue with Sage Intelligence, where a message about a Report Designer License being required is displayed.

In both cases the customer was working fine in Sage Intelligence up until they unexpectedly received the message. They also were not aware of any recent changes to their Sage 100 or Sage Intelligence.

Here are my notes on how we resolved this issue (customer is on Sage 100 Premium):

Sage Intelligence Report Error – "Report Designer License Required"
Step 1: Go to Downloads folder in Sage server.
    Step 2: Unzip BICore75 (01).zip file
Step 3: Copy and paste BICore75.exe file to the below file path.

Step 4: Rename old BICore.exe file to BICoreOLD.exe
Step 5: Rename new BICore75.exe file to BICore.exe
Step 6: Confirm the issue is resolved by running a report in SI.
Step 7: Delete BICoreOLD.exe from above file path.

Is there supposed to be a file path provided?  It is referenced "above" and "Below" but I am not seeing it.

Per Sage Knowledgebase article about replacing BiCore.exe (I think it applies)

    Standard:    C:\Program FIles(x86)\Sage\Intelligence

    Advanced and Premium:     C:\Sage\Sage 100 Workstation\MAS90\Home\Intelligence
