  • 1.  Sage HRMS to Sage import or payroll checks

Someone other than I wrote an import for a client to import payroll checks from HRMS into Sage 100 Bank Rec.  They used the Sage HRMS SQL driver to do so.
Now the client has multiple companies in Sage HRMS, and I have no idea how to direct the import to get the correct one.  There is no "logging in" when you run it.  I had hopes that it would use whichever company was last used in HRMS, but that doesn't seem to be the case.  When they login to HRMS, there is Enterprise at the top, with 3 separate companies listed underneath.

Any ideas?  Will there need to be multiple HRMS drivers, each hard-coded to a different company?

I don't  know if this is applicable here so take this with a grain of skeptical salt that I know what I'm saying ...

I had a Sage 100 Standard go to Premium with about 8 company codes and they used the SOTAMAS90 to pull data periodically for reports. With Premium there is no usable SOTAMAS90 ODBC so we had to create multiple SQL ODBC and set the company database manually within the ODBC. I'm certain that there is a more elegant way to switch the default SQL database without making separate ODBC SQL driver connections however I wasn't able to figure out how to reliably do so.

There's a thread here somewhere where I asked the above question about how to fashion an ODBC feed for multiple companies in Sage 100. If I can find it I'll link it n a reply

@Wayne Schulz - that's definitely along the lines of what I was thinking...

You can move this out of urgent - it's going to become someone else's problem now
