  • 1.  Sage HRMS to Sage 100 Payroll Link (Help Sprinkles, Help)

    Client using both HRMS and Sage 100 payroll just transferred 186 terminated employees from HRMS to PR.  Hard to believe that in the 15 years the link has been in existence, they have NOT developed better "guard rails" in the link to prevent this.  The HRMS response was "They should review the audit report before....."  How about "just fix the transfer so this can't happen easily" but I digress yet again. 

    I now need to delete 186 records.  I don't see a utility to delete records.  Do I tell them the only way to learn this valuable lesson is to key all 186 deletions?  What about copying the PR to a TST company, then running the period end for the year?  Then copy the master table back to the live company?   Maybe I should just call Sprinkles the Wonder Dog who has more intelligence than me (and possibly Jerry Norman because he couldn't find the BOD list either) for support?  @Doug Higgs, how much do you bill out for her assistance?  I know it is a dog-eat-dog world, but I am desperate!

    @Jeff Schwenk  LOL!!  I presented the project to Sprinkles.  Her term options are as follows:  1. By the end of tomorrow for 2 boxes of Greenies and a 20 minute Frisbee session.  2.  By the end of the week for 1 box of Greenies and 15 minutes of playing fetch with the tennis ball.

    I need to see some referrals from her other clients.  Perhaps one box of greenies for a trial engagement.  Otherwise, I am reaching out to @Beth Bowers.  She may have one or two pooches certified in Sage 100 as well.

    I sent you a copy of my Sage 100 Table Editor. Just select those records with your mouse, use the table filters, or modify the query to isolate them and delete.
