I'm planning to modify a VI job that imports pricing data into CI Item.  Neither the Skip Source Data Truncation nor the Skip Over Existing Records boxes are checked.

The modification is to begin importing item descriptions from the source file.  that means I will check the Skip Source Data Truncation box (learned from researching how to import item descriptions and extended descriptions)..

As I read Sage's description of the Skip Data Truncation box, it doesn't look right to me.  I don't want to exclude any records.  Wondering if better verbiage would be something like "Clear the check box to not allow data to exceed the dictionary field length, 

Please confirm or correct my thinking.
