**Sage Gurus Hours of Enlightenment follow-up.** We received the following answers via email from Ronnie Aspe today, these were from their 2018 MOTM session. **Auto complete not functioning with Sage 100 Premium. It is slow even after running rebuilding search. Related to KB: 80090. Need to know version and details about the data. See if we can get the following.** 1.Exact version (Sage 100 PREM 5.40.??) 2.System configuration. a.Server OS b.SQL version and Server OS if on a different server c.Hardware specs CPU and RAM 3.Detailed steps to replicate. Easy to follow. Even a caveman can do it. 4.Size of data. Record count **Rebuilding Sorts to correct Qty showing in Inventory SO On Hand / PO On Hand. KB: 21398 There are several causes to this which are addressed with steps on why it happens which all have their own KB or defect. This kb has links to the others reported. (KB:83593, 51324, 78059, 49820, 85311, 64307)** 1.Version's having to run rebuild sorts to correct? And does it matter if Standard, Advanced, or Premium 2.How often? 3.Any know specifics leading up to Qty being incorrect? **Task and Favorites do not migrate over?** This has been since 3.x. My Task will not migrate. This is listed in the Upgrade Guide. Favorites may be a different process and will need to research. **Unable to Process Lock File because of registry key permissions for Paperless Office converted install** Request was to see if can add permissions when the regkey is created. Will need research or enhancement request submitted. **Knowledgebase Navigation for Product Updates and HotFixes** I believe Linda Cade said she will look into this one. I will confirm with her. Also suggested to subscribe to the KB so receive emails when updated. **Registration keys change. If customer purchases Sage 100c Premium and is still on Sage 100 Standard. Keys may change in live Standard install while testing** Depending on version with updates, the keys should no longer change. There was a update that was suppose to prevent this. It is supposed to just change expiration dates. I said there should be a URL that could be blocked to prevent instead of disabling internet. KB: 78858 block access to https://licensing.services.sage.com/lic/services/LicenseService also AmazonAWS com These are the URLs we suggest to allow access on firewall. So do the opposite.

I would block ports at your own risk. This just showed up in MySageSell and although it pertains to 300 I can't imagine 100 is far behind. Internet Access, Port Access = IMO the same thing.

P.S. If I were drinking milk when ""Also suggested to subscribe to the KB so receive emails when updated"" was mentioned - it would have shot out of my nose and hit the presenters on stage (and I was in the last row). First, I don't see a space on a typical KB to flag this option (maybe you have to ask the tech?) and secondly, I don't think this has ever worked consistently on the portal. I regularly submit suggestions for KB changes and NEVER hear anything back from Siloed Sage.

Comments about the Lockfile issue are incorrect. The permissions get reset with Windows Updates, wiping out the key / settings (requiring a workstation repair to re-create the key after adding the permissions back in). The request is to move the lockfile settings to another part of the registry (which don't get reset by Windows Updates). I think I have Ronnie's email address, and will send him a note to clarify.
