I have installed Fixed Asset on a Remote Desktop where Sage 100 Advance 2024 64bit is installed. When I launch the fixed asset module within Sage 100 I get the error "Sage Fixed Assets was not Found". When I run Sage in MAS90 mode, then Sage can see Fixed Assets and I can launch FAS from the Sage menu.

There is a KB that references this issue Solution ID:  225924250081777 and the resolution is somewhat lacking as it does not address which permissions to review on the server. I've already checked the standard permissions (Share, Home Directory, local C..). Any other suggestions?

    Resolution
Try in MAS90 mode (KB 21025). If the connection is made, then check permissions at the server.

ProcMon (Processor Monitor) is good for tracking permissions issues. You can use this article as a guide on how to setup ProcMon but on the filter (Ctrl-L) instead of doing what you see there for monitoring AV exclusions, which involves using "Path", you could instead add "Process Name" to add pvxcom.exe, pvxwin32.exe, pvxwin64.exe, Launch32.exe, Launcher.old.exe, etc processes. Set all these as INCLUDE filters (not EXCLUDE).

Before that as soon as it starts, use Use Ctrl-E to disable the trace that auto starts.
Then Ctrl-X to clear the existing trace on the screen
    Then setup the filters above
Then start up Sage normally and get to the point where the error is just about to occur
    Ctrl-E to start the trace
Once you get the error, then Ctrl-E again to stop the trace
From the File menu choose Save/Export to a CSV file
Open the CSV on a machine with Excel running
In Excel, sort and/or filter or Column H. Look for ACCESS DENIED records. It will point to a folder, file, or registry entry where permissions aren't sufficient.

    Hope this helps.

Make sure the Sage 100 Advanced service is running using a proper user account (with local admin permissions), and not something like "local service" (which will not have any network related permissions).
