  • 1.  Sage Fixed Assets Renewal Notice

    Customer received a renewal notice for Sage Fixed Assets even though they only have the Fixed Assets Link in Sage 100 - which they are not using. This is the first time they've received one. Anyone else getting these??

    Apparently, they have a Fixed Assets plan, probably from when they went to Extended Enterprise Suite way back when. According to Sage, when they migrate to 100c, they get the first year of FA maintenance free but then bill them upon renewal. I believe they went to subscription in 2018 and their ERP renewal is coming up next month. Now the question is, they could pay the $1096.25 to keep it just in case they want to use it at some point. Or let it lapse and repurchase if/when they would need it. Hmm...

    This sounds similar to how Sage automatically added Sage Intelligence licenses onto customers who had purchased additional FRx seats.
