  • 1.  Sage FAS GL accounts

    Any FAS folks know if there is a way to do a mass find/replace of GL accounts in FAS?  Client has the expense accounts setup correctly, but the Asset account is setup with the Main account only, so it won't integrate.  And apparently has been this way for EONS, but we finally had some turnover and someone asked why.  If not within FAS, can I export to Excel, modify and import back in?

    Hi Beth I recently had to do this too. In FAS you export the GL accounts and do a find replace in excel and then do a custom import back into FAS but choose "update assets" instead of importing new assets.

    Yes of course. I did the export/import option but there is a find replace global option from the smartlist as well. Look up this KB article under Sage Fixed Assets: Solution ID:  230515184611293.
