    Sage FAS 2013.1 Network 3U upgrade. Any quick thoughts why when I run the install disk for 2014.1 and everything appears to run properly that I click the logon and I'm still facing a 2013.1 Help/About and appears to still be the old version? Believe I followed the instructions exactly.

    Answer: For network install - you must first run the network update on the server, then log to the workstation and run the workstation. If you don't the old FAS appears to still run and present the old version. TL;DR: Forget everything you know about prior Sage products because each one is designed, managed and solid in a silo #smashingwallsbetweenfrontandbackoffice

    Aside from the above glitch - the upgrade was pretty self-install. 1. Run the depreciation network from the server 2. Go to the workstations and re-run the workstation setups The steps are shown in the upgrade guide

    If you are moving to a new server as part of the upgrade you typically would uninstall the old FAS version from the workstation and delete the folder before installing the new client.
