Have you received calls from customers regarding this Azure Active Directory free license and if so what are you telling them? The announcement from Sage Partner Hub in Sept is below as well as a copy of what customers reportedly are receiving.

I received 2 emails from clients over the weekend, still trying to figure out what this actually does but for these 2 clients, I don't think they have any use for it at this point.

The only client of mine who has reported this used to use the order app via iPad that Sage BRIEFLY sold and supported.  I assumed it had something to do with that (which they are no longer using, of course).

I'm not sure why they've termed it a survey except if you follow the link it takes you to a site that asks if you already own a Microsoft Subscription. Since most users in a larger accounting department don't manage their Microsoft license subscriptions I can't imagine Sage getting a huge response. I can imagine getting a lot of "what is this?" type questions.

I see this as an invitation to live on the bleeding edge, until master developers start deploying solutions using this plugin / connection method.

Get a drivers license before someone invents the car... but you can always build your own.

Am I wrong in seeing this potential scenario?
    Ring ring.
Customer: I just bought Office 365 and Sage says you'll connect all my stuff together
    .
Partner: What? I...ear you, you're....king up.  Can you he...

This is to push out their Sage Contacts with outlook as well as the Power Apps integration, right? This was one of the barriers that customers would have had to connect. They would have had to purchase this for their O365 to be able to connect. Now Sage is giving it to them and if you don't use it now, OK. When you do start to use o365 then go back to this email (like they will remember this) and click on the link to get it for free.

I am glad they are trying to remove the barrier to adopt the use of the tool but documentation for all of this is extremely limited. I think it would be been better if they had a landing page to see how Sage contacts work and provide documentation (including the power apps examples) to set it up then from there have this link.  To just send this link and use words most accounting people don't understand like AZURE and what not doesn't help.

We have been getting calls and emails too.
