Sage Development Team has requested our feedback: When Sage released Payroll 2.0, they added a Certified Payroll Worksheet to the Main Menu. However, this is no longer a fileable report. In the November 2018 release for Payroll and Job Cost, Sage will be adding the ability to do the Certified Payroll Report via Aatrix which will also give the user the ability to do all states. This report would be run and filed weekly after the user updates their payroll. The report will also run off history (as far back as retained history exists). The questions is where to put the new Certified Payroll Reporting menu option?

Report Menu, with a setting in Options to change to the report after the Update has been run (perhaps this is what the third options means).

I think that the third option is more like, if you have Job Cost integrated this report automatically prompts to print after PR update or can be printed later from the reports menu. I like the Setup Option idea better.

Would this replace the Kissinger Certified Payroll (which is not yet compatible with 2018).

I think so, but would need to confirm.

Will there be a cost?

For the Aatrix filing you mean?

OK, I get it. No cost to just run the report, only efiling.

I'll confirm, but it is likely a charge. Haven't seen Aatrix pass up a chance to charge for something.

A1: We hadn't thought of that but it would a great idea to add a Security Event so that the user could control whether or not it prompts to run the report after the Update.
