Please advise if this is mostly going to be a Production Management or other largely manufacturing focused update as that has little relevance to me.

Are there any planned back-end upgrades (which might not be associated with new user features)?  Things like moving ALE settings from SOA files into framework style tables (M4T / SQL table)... or revising the Premium to Premium migration programming to not rely on an active connection to the source server...

I would like to know how we should be keeping Sage 100 Postal Codes current. This table is/should be accessed by external apps (eg, e-commerce) and used as data verifications for shipping. When a code is missing or incorrect, the integrated app throws an error. Does Sage have a way of annually updating these?

I'd like to see some attention paid to the portions of Sage 100 other than production management.

      - Streamlining the upgrade process - especially when there are 3+ integrations involved. It would be fantastic if we were able to to upgrades without worrying about which integrations also need to be installed at the staging point ( initial setup of Sage 100 ) and which ones might kick and bite us as we try to remove them permanently. This wishlist item is really higher-level long term planning. I should be able to upgrade Sage independent of any third-parties that are being used.

      - ability to schedule rebuild of sort files for after-hours - would like to be able to rebuild SO, PO, IM, AP, AR, etc all together unattended

      - a utility to point the new location of files such as ACH exports, Positive Pay Exports, paperless office ( we have a utility but this really should be available in Sage ). This would be helpful on upgrades so you don't have to remember to jump into multiple setup options and change old servers to new servers, etc. The paperless office should also point the Sage historical info on paperless location from an old folder to a new one.

I would like to see automation of the system configuration.  For a "world class SaaS" company they are operating in 1987.  Get rid of faxes and emails that takes 2 days to process.  There should be a web portal to add / remove users, modules, change between Advanced, Premium and Standard etc.

Thanks @Anne Sawyer for setting this up.  Topics were topical and somewhat interesting.  At the end of the session, I was wondering "where's the beef". For a new release, there wasn't much new on the horizon.  But consider the source I suppose.......

We have a large number of manufacturing clients so I was pleased to see the progress in Production Management and IRP.  PM is much better than the old work order module and it looks like they are going to get IRP back to the same level of functionality contained in MRP with a better user interface and some nice tools.

However, it was very disappointing to see the "new" scheduling in PM is based on the pile of junk that was in the work order module.  It's basically not useable because when scheduling it assumes each step in the manufacturing process happens sequentially in a nice neat linear fashion.  In a mid-market size manufacturing plant it rarely works that way.  This is Sage taking the easy way out instead of doing a little homework, talking to some customers and creating something that would actually be useful.  Definitely a missed opportunity in my opinion.
