  • 1.  Sage CRM updates

As we close out 2022, I wanted to give you some CRM related updates.

    1. Sage CRM News:
      1. Sage CRM sales are up +20% in each of the past 2-years. Not just in North America, but globally. That success is even more notable given Sage North America's limited efforts related to the product (sounds familiar I'm sure). Demand is steady.
      2. Sage CRM continues to publish releases twice a year, and most recently Sage CRM v2022 R2. This release is significant in that Sage has completely dropped their Outlook Plugin. Any companies looking for an integration to Outlook will now need to use Accelerator
      3. Sage CRM licenses go up by 10% on January 1st (from $477 to $525/user/year). Regardless, Sage CRM licenses remain very inexpensive.
    2. News from Greytrix
      1. The Sage 100 GUMU continues to evolve. There have been significant changes throughout the year but a very major release in August.
      2. The Profitability (By Salesperson or Customer) utility we posted about back in July is doing very well.
      3. The constructive feedback we have been pouring into the GUMU 100 CRM gets rolled out to Greytrix's entire line up of integrations. The result of which Greytrix continues to gather street cred as having the very best integrations between Sage accounting programs and CRMs (Sage CRM, MS CRM, SFDC). The Sage 100 to Sage CRM integration is the template for everything else. The GUMU™ for Sage 100 CRM is awesome, but Greytrix's GUMU™ Salesforce integration to Sage has, over the past year, become the best-selling Sage 100 to sf integration with a 5-star rating on Salesforce's App exchange.
    3. News from CRM Together, the publishers of the Advanced Outlook integration to Sage CRM (as well as MobileX, 365, Crystal Manager, Data Islands) etc.
      1. Accelerator is still part of 95% of our new Sage CRM projects. AND well deserving of a line on our Sage CRM pricing calculator.
        1. There is now a free lite version of Accelerator that allows non-Sage CRM users to still file emails and look up records from Outlook.
        2. Coming soon, there will be a version of Accelerator that skips Sage CRM completely and works directly with Sage 300.
      2. MobileX recently launched a completely revamped UI. It looks a lot more like Accelerator now (the future).
      3. For 365, CRM Together's portal for Sage CRM… we deployed this a few months ago in our internal system – after having used this 365 portal on several projects over the past few years.
      4. Data Islands – is a new product used to share data between systems. In our internal CRM system, we can see license keys from the CRM Together system. The applications (as you well know) are endless.
    4. My CRM Manager news:
      1. 16-months ago, we introduced our Quick Start Implementation package. So far, we have had approximately 14-companies take this approach. All are successful (to varying degrees) with Sage CRM, but none that took this Quick Start approach have tanked (knock on wood). In the world of CRM implementations... that says a lot. Even those customers who ultimately have done much more with their Sage CRM system AFTER the Quick Start, are glad they took the Quick Start approach initially. This package is the default implementation charge we display on our Sage CRM Pricing Calculator.
      2. While we are doing projects that integrate with Sage 50, 300, and 500, most of our projects are with 100. And of those, many are using CRM to create Quotes and Orders that then feed into Sage 100.
      3. Greytrix have asked us to take a more proactive role in the sales and marketing of their GUMU™ Salesforce to Sage integrations. As such, we have begun adding pages, a GUMU™ Salesforce to Sage pricing calculator, and news articles to the My CRM Manager website – but also fielding sales calls. If you or your clients want to know more about the GUMU™ Salesforce to Sage integrations, just ping me. I can coordinate demonstrations or provide any information you might require. AND this applies to any sf integration including Sage 100, 300, X3, or Intacct.

*While Greytrix is doing very well with their GUMU™ Salesforce to Sage integration, IMO Sage CRM is usually the best option for Sage 100 users looking for an integrated system. Sage CRM is a very competitive solution for the SME market.
