  • 1.  Sage Community Hub - New Name, New Web Address, New From Email

    From today's Posting: 

     Over the last year we've freshened the look and feel of Sage City, made it easier for customers and colleagues to navigate the platform, and improved the way the platform is moderated - and now, the last piece of the puzzle; we're changing its name! 

    That's right. From Friday, October 27, Sage City will be known as Community Hub.

    Customers, accountants, and partners, both new and seasoned pros, will continue to share their expertise, answer questions and connect with other Sage users, as well as gain access to a wealth of Sage resources. 

    What else?
    As you'd expect, with the name change comes a change in URL, so if you have Sage City bookmarked, you'll need to change it to the new URL: communityhub.sage.com.

    Yeah I don't get it.  What the heck was wrong with the name 'Sage City'?  Community Hub just seems so generic/plain and lacks enticement.

    I had to stop myself from commenting this was a "silly idea".  As silly as calling something "c" or even "cloud" when it is not a cloud product...

    If they would have used the last ten years of rebranding budgets for product improvement then we might have a cloud product.
