It may be worth asking IT is they are syncing the documents folder to OneDrive. The Sage article attached to this email pertains to Sage 100 screen panels that freeze not disappear, so it's not exactly the same, however it is similar and may have the same cause.

Subject: Sage closes on users during entry
HI Wayne
Per Scott Brady's request I had the client send me the contents of the Windows Event viewer from the Activity & System folder. I looked at them and found that it showed that the user folder was being redirected but the redirection was happening after the user had logged in and apparently when Sage was running. Right after that then Launcher & pvxwin32 reported errors.
I believe this caused the issue because it was trying to move the Sage 100 folder in their documents folder - the client reported that Sage just sort of "locked up" and would not respond & they could not open any other modules.
I won't hear any results until next week but it is worth looking at.

Bob-
Have you heard anything more on this. I had my client run the impacted workstation in Mas90 mode and she just emailed that it's still happening.
I'm going to ask her to send me an activity log.

HI Wayne
They are running Standard. They have a mix of users that access Sage on their workstation & some that access on an RDP server. I am not 100% sure if it is only the users running on their workstations that run into the issue. But it does seem that once it happens it affects all the users.
Scott Brady is assigned to look at this. He asked for some additional information and he suggested the following:
Have they tried restoring the following folders: Home, Launcher, MAS_System, SOA, SY? If not, I would suggest they restore these folders.

I took a call on this today - using VDI and said that they moved a user off VDI to what I think was a network desktop. The network desktop was reportedly the desktop that was disconnecting. They reported that all Sage windows closed on the users desktop except for the main windows that the client was working in.
I asked them to try MAS 90 mode and report back if the issue resolved and if so I'd look further.
