Sage 100

Sage Closed Some of us are working today, so it is disturbing that Sage is closed and unavailable. Is it just me? #scrooge

Considering the amount of things we need to address towards the end of the year, I would have thought they would be open, at least with a small staff. I tried to get through to support earlier in the week and was forced to leave a call back number or they hung up! Do you know if they will be open on Tuesday?

Yes, Tuesday they will be back.

Yup, I had to give in and reach out to Sage Support earlier today, only to find out they're closed. Nice. Think they could have at least let us know.

So when it gets to the end of each quarter and Sage calls to ask what orders you have, tell them you are taking the rest of the month off.

Sage reminds me of my bank. They have some inane procedure and tell me it's for my convenience!

Funny that you compare Sage to your bank because it seems they're closer to a banking / holding company than a technology company.

The people at my local BBT branch are friendly and very helpful when I stop by. Though they always ask if I would like to open up a LOC.....

Well Sage Support appears to be open, although I had to leave a message in the automated system for someone to call me back. Not sure why I wasn't given option to remain on-hold.

That's what happened to me last week as well. I did not have the choice of sitting on hold and the call back came about 1.5 hours later. FYI

They obviously believe they are doing that for our convenience.

FWIW, I received a callback today in 10min.

Yes, @JeffSchwenk, they did resolve my issue (which I'll be posting shortly).

I guess I am struggling with the response I received today from the VP of Support at a ""prominent"" Sage Scanning Solution, that their support desk is closed this entire week. They never responded to my Friday 12/22/2017 a.m. email, and they will not reopen Support Desk until 1/2/2018. Whatttt!

I agree, @MadelineStefanou. I was very unhappy with that news from the ""prominent"" manufacturing solution when I found out on 12/18!

What?? Closed all week?? If you want to act like a Big Dog, you have to be a BIG dog. That means having tech support open when your customers are open. This isn't the 1990's. Imagine a hospital closing their ED for the holidays. Or the airlines shutting down for the week. In this day and age, you don't have to have your entire staff working, but you need to have SOMEONE available to take phone calls... OMG!!
