Sage Businessvision partner call. At least 50 partners on the call to hear Nancy Harris reiterate that Businessvision is not end of life - which is in line with Sage's new strategy of not EOL anything. Strangely during the beginning of the call Sage references ""confusion"" about Businessvision as if partners didn't understand where Businessvision was going. They will not be marketing BV to new deals. They will be updating it for regulatory requirements (ie payroll) . Partner letter will go out over the next few days. Customer letter will be a couple weeks to customer letter (regular mail). Some discussion about re-writing to eliminate an issue with dates (2020 or 2021). Is there a Sage BV channel after October? If there are no new sales how to people make tier?

Is there a Sage Canada website? Yes Will Sage BV be on the site? I'm not sure - we aren't actively marketing to new customers TL;DR: Sage BV in maintenance mode for existing customers, not actively marketed to new sales I don't see this as much of a change from the prior Sage strategy.

Some of these BV partners don't see the writing on the wall. Heck maybe Sage 100 is in the same boat.
