Sage Budgeting and Planning I didn't know and you might not either - you have to order your copy of the software. Place your order using the 100cloud Order Form and Price List order form dated 4-11-18. and choose Budgeting and Planning Users, line 155 (1) and Web View Users, line 161 (3). (I only add the detail because I kept trying to enter the numbers on the wrong lines). Download the software from the Sage site. Go to Downloads, then scroll back to the top of the page and choose Sage 100 2018, scroll to the bottom of the page and under Popular Downloads, choose Download Sage Budgeting and Planning 2016. Or, go to the Knowledgebase and search ""download Sage Budgeting and Planning 2016"". Install the software (runs on SQL). The install is a multi-step process and the install guide is on the downloaded CD. To get your Registration keys, launch the program and click registration. Send the installation code on the page to the Sage rep that processed your order. Sage will then supply the serial numbers for the program. There are two SB&P gurus that I am aware of: Rob Lawson and Doug Leasure. Rob Lawson - I received an email Monday from Net@Work sharing with me that they have hired Rob Lawson and if we are interested in having him help us on a project, he can be reached at rlawson@netatwork.com, 646 517-1011. Doug Leasure - Doug Leasure has his own company and can also help us with demos, installs and implementations. His information is: Leasure Consulting, doug.p.leasure@gmail.com, 724-498-4404. Happy budgeting!

^ what John said ... so this is ANOTHER ""free benefit of subscription"" that is going to require paying a consultant to use.

@John Hoyt - I don't know if Sage has experts in house any more. I know they have technical support, but that is about all I know. @Wayne Schultz - A few years ago a customer wanted to purchase SB&P and Doug did the demo for me and then the training and implementation. I had never used the program and the customer was complex enough that I didn't feel confident to tackle it. I am just starting to play with the program now. I think in it's simple form, the program might be pretty easy, but if you start adding complexity with sub-reports and such, it becomes harder. I will know soon!

@JaneCavanaugh the issue I am running into with many add-ons is the customer will use me to get reg keys, install, debug then they go off on their own and create the reports, etc. I'm finding less than expected paid work and much more admin/setup time which is harder to bill. This is a lot different than what I saw in the FRx days when customers would typically pay us $$ to create reports. Willingness to pay extra seems to vary by customer but my observation is that it's trending toward DIY = especially with anything MS Excel based.
