Sage Authorized Training Partner program The Authorized Training Partner program is strategically important as an extension of Sage Universityhelping Sage reach more customers to provide them with knowledge that increases the value of their investments and achieve greater profitability with Sage products and services. An authorized training partner may conduct training in a classroom setting, a pilot conference room setting, side by side with the customer, or online.

Is Sage revamping this from Authorized Training Center to Authorized Training Partner? I'm a little cloudy on what the difference is except perhaps to be able to use curriculum? As a consultant you are able to the same things.

I'll tell you what you get: reinforcement of your declining (read: obliterated) belief that Sage has any concern for your practice. The cost of entry has been reduced (which means the space that we've attempted to hold on to for decades could potentially be flooded*) but our calendars are no longer published at SageU.com. I just went through the trouble to get the ATP locations moved to the front of the customer pages since it was buried behind more clicks that I could count or remember. *if there are enough suckers out there.

Here's the program guide - looks like $1,000 to become ATP and $ 500 for Authorized Trainer? Via Sage: The Sage Authorized Training Partner program was introduced about a year ago, replacing the Authorized Training Center program. ATP's will handle the class registrations and promoting the classes. This gives the partner control on what they offer, promote, schedule, and charge for the training services they conduct. The benefits the ATP receives are: 30% curriculum discount ATP listed on Sage University, with a link to each partners training area of their website Training referrals ATPs promoted on Sage Public sites and promoted on Sage communications

TL;DR: You save 30% on training guides. I hope you sell a lot of them to make back your money. TL;DR2: This is mostly a dice roll to see if you can attract one new customer for consulting work
