  • 1.  Sage AP Automation Sell Around Channel?

    Has anyone dealt with Sage AP Automation? I have a customer who invited me to view a webinar with them.  Next thing I know they've purchased AP automation directly and the enhancement shows up in their Sage account online.

    What is different about how Sage AP Automation orders are processed versus Sage Sales Tax? Both are white-labeled offerings. With Sage Sales Tax you are required to manage all the paperwork. With Sage AP Automation it doesn't appear like you have to do anything and the product is just sold. I think the same may happen with Sage Inventory Advisor. 

    Why are there different ways that orders are processed for these  "Sage" integrations?

    We haven't had one in awhile, though AP Automation orders should follow the same process -- order is sent to Sage for processing.  There is a separate order form.    In many of our cases, the Beanworks team has done the paperwork and then just sent it our team for processing.   Our experience has been, they don't do a good job of keeping partners in the loop of sales activity.

    Sorry, clarification, don’t know if I get commission credit or not. Meant to say I have not seen a commission credit and have not received a return phone call from AP Automation.

    Ray Scarborough, formerly of CIMcloud, is now at AP Automation as Channel Development Manager.

    Sure doesn’t sound like AP Automation has a concept of channel so perhaps that’s what Ray is tasked with?
