We've just had our second failure with Sage APA and PO invoicing.  I know some folks seem to have very happy clients - are they only doing AP Invoicing?  Our first client was never able to even get a sync to work after working with APA for a year.  This second client has had it say a PO isn't on file, when it is, and has even had it code to a different vendor number than the PO's vendor.  (Shriek)  In this second case we were not aware the client was working with APA until we were preparing for an upgrade - and then 2 weeks later we get an email from Sage asking us to intervene because the client had put a stop payment on their APA payments because they were getting no help from APA.  (Gotta love those emails from Sage.)

Does anyone have a client successfully using the PO invoice integration with Sage APA?

I have one that has implemented - NO PO - they are a small school - no issues. They adopted this during the start of Covid when they had also just recently lost their AP person.

I have one that is looking - NO PO - they are a large health insurance provider - having issues with the sync tool which Beanworks had to write in order to make use of unified login. The sync tool is suspected of causing a server crash - the final ruling has yet to be made. Beanworks is in the midst of reviewing this with the customer's IT department.

I have another that is looking and they will want PO. They are also using eRequester ( now Fraxion ) for PO processing. I'm unclear whether they will continue to use Fraxion.

I really only get involved with the selections if the customer is on a support agreement with me. The first two are and the third isn't so I haven't been involved in the conversations that the third customer has had with Beanworks.

Beanworks has a very methodical process for selling and they tend to keep moving forward whether the VAR is involved or not.

Overall I am not concerned when a customer is looking for only AP processing. I had heard a year or two ago that Beanworks didn't work with PO and thought they had recently ironed out any issues but perhaps not.
