These are cool extensions. But they can't go anywhere at least until Sage releases a package of apps designed to work OOB with customer.

Sage Flash will include a demo of how to create an App for Sage Connect through Office 365.  That is a good value!

Wow, according to my HL summary, a total of 8 posts on this topic.  Not like the old days when this would top a 100 posts.  Where are the people?

This was largely a re-hash of a presentation I think I've seen at least 2x.
I do appreciate the spin on Sage Contacts, however, I don't think it's a free feature most people are going to take on and set up for no extra money.
I have learned over the past 12 months that once you touch something - whether paid or not - the customer subconsciously believes you also agree to provide a lifetime warranty.

    My only takeaways
    • Linda Cade not on call
    • Migration credits are still around in some form
    • New partner portal of some sort which seems like a marketing portal ( as opposed to technical or true Sage portal replacement )
    • Sage Sessions X3 in Arizona looks way light on content - essentially 1 day of sessions

Is it me or maybe it's because I play in a different sandbox than everybody else but Sage is putting such an emphasis on being able to write apps with Office 365 is this something that everybody envisions or is planning to do often?

Office 365 apps are a big deal in the MS Dynamics world. @Peter Wolf explains this well. I agree that this is a very useful, valuable trend.
However, Sage seems to be a long way from making the results of these APIs clearly connecting with customers. Again.
