    Sage Advanced - Client purchased additional user licenses. I updated the license key on the server. Installed module listing shows the new license count. I have updated the activate.pvx file on the RDP servers. User access are still limited for those that are connected directly (NOT accessing via RDP). **Does the activate.pvx file have to be updated for EVERYONE's workstation???** As you can tell, I don't have a lot of ADV clients adding user licenses. TIA

    Check the *info user count. It should be the paid number +2. I opened a case for just this last week, with the new keys not being updated properly in a v2018 Premium system (when clicking the ""Update"" button). I had to put in the old keys, activate, then type in the new keys and activate... restarting the service after that. Then the user count in *info updated properly.

    Epilogue - After many hours of putzing around with this, sending emails back and forth with sales advisors to verify the correctness of the keys, 45 minutes with tech support tonight, following the suggestions of KB article 26119 and just before sending a support request off to DSD (were their enhancements the culprit), this is how I resolved it. Shut off the ADV service, fire up v2017 in STD mode, click on the update button in system configuration and breathe a sigh of relief because it finally worked. No clue why but STD mode comes through yet again. Hip hip, Hurrah!!!
