I'm going to throw in a suggestion here, even though the error message we got isn't exactly you are getting, however, the environment, and in one case the existence of eBiz is exactly the same variables.
Here's what we discovered:
eBiz requires Paya. However, apparently, when eBiz is installed, it wants
Sage to trigger the Paya process.
By default, when you install Paya on a Terminal Server, it automatically starts Paya Exchange Desktop for every user that logs in, and that tripped out credit card processing within Sage. (in our case with eBiz, but perhaps that might now be the case with Paya on its own -- could possibly be because of some windows update -- )
The fix that we got to was to remove (
not uninstall) the startup for Paya from the registry, and allow Sage to call it when needed.
Remove the entry from here:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Once removed, try your transaction again. Hopefully this resolution will also address the symptoms your are seeing.
