Sage 2021 release

  • 1.  Sage 2021 release

At Meeting of the Minds I made notes that suggested that customer release of the 2021 version was to be April 21,  but partners could access it on 3/24.

I went hunting and could not find it available on the partner portal.  Did I write that down incorrectly or am I just not looking in the right place?

The March release was to development partners, not customers.   I have April 21st for Customers.

This product - near and dear to Sage’s heart - has had zero point zero public facing advance road ahead sessions for subscription paying customers.

Let that sink in next time you hear how tremendously important Sage 100 is.

@Wayne Schulz  This is why I won't be attending the "extra session".  If I can't rely on the accuracy of the message then the time spent is worthless.

I'm trying to help customers of Sage make decisions on what version they should upgrade to. I have nothing I can publicly share with them and have to disclose that during the 2020 upgrade we didn't have some of the most strategic enhancements available until six months after Sage released the first upgrade.

Ditto for me on the extra session as well as partner summit.  My head is still spinning from trying to digest the last all-hands when Sage announced most products would merge into a medium segment -- and then from all appearances they continued to manage everything like it had been for the past year.  We still have all-hands that by appearances and content are limited to Sage 100, 300 product groups. Maybe I misinterpreted or Sage did a poor job of explaining what they appeared to bill as a re-org.

Agree.  2021 does not seem to have major features for customers with customizations and 3rd party add-ons to upgrade immediately.
Wondering if the 64-bit Sage100 will have significant performance boost.

At least they are upfront about telling you that your email will be used for marketing purposes.  Wish you could opt out.
