Posting this to see if anyone else has encountered this issue. Installed Sage Advanced 2020 PU1 and then could not open Sage workstation. Client would immediately close and even did mas90 style and on the server the launcher would display, but when you clicked on anything nothing would happen. On the client workstation, Sage would open and immediately close and no errors were logged in event viewer. Reinstalled workstation setup did not help and then decided to restore from prior to PU1 but issue still occurred. My co-worker Jim Woodhead was looking on Sage KB and found KB
ID:30439 about the shutdown broadcast flag and that was the issue. The end user had done the 'shutdown' from Master Console. Resolution was to take the sy_system.m4t to our Sage and edit and change the BroadcastShutdown$ flag to N.
Another co-worker reported this happened to him after he installed PU1 and re-migrated data and he did NOT do the shutdown from Master Console. Sage says it's not a reported issue yet and they were going to try and duplicate it.
I put a suggested enhancement on the Sage Idea site to either add DFDM to Administrator Tools in Sage or add something to reset that flag so you didn't have to edit a file.
Have NOT had any issue on Sage 2020 Standard installs with PU1.------------------------------
