    Team

I'm hoping someone can guide me on this. I have a customer running Sage 100 2019 Advanced and is looking to upgrade to Sage 2023. I started the install this morning and only got through the components pieces when crystal reports in Sage 100 2019 broke. I'm used to having issues with Crystal BUT not before I've even loaded the Sage 100 product. I wanted to find out if other people were loading Sage 2023 on the same server as 2019 or if you were splitting them up. This customer's server isn't that old so I would hit for them to spin up another one but I also do not want to break their Sage 100 2019 either. As best I can tell, this is only at the workstation level but just wanted to confirm with others. Also, is there a way to fix the printing in 2019 (thinking Crystal run time engine here). Note - this is only on the workstation for where I installed 2023. I tried other workstations immediately after and they seem fine.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Tara

Try removing the two run time engines, then reinstall the 2023 workstation.  This has become my SOP for v2023 installations.  Remove the existing runtimes before installing the 2023 workstations.

Thanks Jeff. In general though, having the two on the same server is ok?

I haven't had issues when uninstalling the runtimes prior to 2023 workstation installation
