    Sage 2018 - Lot UDF's - missing from needed entry panels. We have a client interested in adding an expiration date to the lot record. I have been able to place and enter the value in lot distribution in inventory transactions but cannot find a way to make the expiration date available for entry through receipt of goods in PO. Also it does not seem possible to have the expiration date appear as a new field(column) in the lot/serial list when looking up lots to choose from in invoicing. Seems like we used to be able to do this in earlier versions (after 4.4). UDF's can be added to the appropriate tables but Customizer doesn't make them available to use in all the panels. Am I missing something?

    I've used Expiration Dates as a MultiBin feature. I don't think you can do lot-level without an add-on.

    I've done this in v2015 for both PO Receipts, IM Lot Serial Inquiry, and RMA Receipts. Let me dig up my notes later today.

    Lot/Serial expiration has sporadically showed on roadmaps. One map appeared to suggest 2019+

    Granted this was v2015, but I added the UDF to PO_ReceiptTierDistribution, PO_ReturnTierDistribution, PO_ReceiptOfGoodsInvoiceWrk, PO_ReturnOfGoodsRegisterWrk, and PO_ReceiptHistoryLotSerial - in addition to a IM, SO, and RMA. Then I added the UDF to CI_CommonEntry.M4L dDistribute panel (Grid Definition GD_GRID) for POReceiptTierDistribution, SOInvoiceTierDistribution, IMTierDistribution and RAReceiptTierDistribution.

    I will try populating the other tables related to PO. You would think that the manual entry UDF in POReceiptTierDistribution would be enough to enable placement of the field on the Distribution input panel but not on my test. There is not a selection for POReceiptTierDistribution in my CommonEntry grid, just SO,RA & IM. I'm thinking a bug. Can someone confirm if it is available in the CommonEntry grid drop-down on their 2018?

    This is possible to do without a MB installed and I can confirm that it works on v6.00 / 2018. See attached screenshots. When you go to edit the Common Tier Distribution Panel you need to select the BO and make sure to scroll down - but it is in the list.

    Its after IM_ you need to scroll down. Did you scroll to the bottom and it still doesnt show?

    Also make sure you are in a company that the PO Module is activated.

    OK now I really feel like a rookie! scrolling down. What a unique concept! You're the WO(MAN)! Update to resolution... The Lookup Wizard on the LOT lookup allowed me to add the missing UDF and to also make it available for search criteria. All is well.
