I'm hoping someone can help us with this. Not sure if it's a 911 or not yet but could be Monday morning depending on what you all say.

We have a customer that is going from Sage 2015 standard to Sage 2021 Advanced. We had to process the paperwork for cancelling Sage 100 keys so we could do the Advanced install. As best I can tell Sage 2015 does NOT call home to Sage so as long as I don't have the update button, we should be good. However, can someone confirm that we're right on this. Sage doesn't offer trial keys for Advanced so there was no other way for us to do this.

They are on PU2 and there is no expiration date box in the place you would normally see it. So – sounds like I should be ok?

We've switched keys (usually to Premium) with the cancel warning emails before, on more modern versions, with no license issues... but we don't do Payroll, which I have no comments on.

Plan B - use your keys to temporarily run STANDARD but only in an absolute emergency. As a rule, I dislike entering in partner keys because if I forget to take them out and someone stumbles across it then it looks like I sold a deal without paying Sage.

Thanks. They have an enhancements so it gets a little dicey there but that could be my backup plan.
