Sage 100c STD Classic vs. Standard interface - What is the secret sauce that I am missing? When running is classic mode, Client's short cuts that appear across the top of the Launcher and under ""My Tasks"" appear normal. However, when I turn on the new look for them, the shortcuts across the top disappear and the task under ""My Tasks"" do not appear under favorites. Is there a gotcha that I overlooked telling them about? TIA

There's no way to do the shortcuts across the top and you have to manually set up the favorites.

So in other words - no gotcha, just SOP for an upgrade, right? :-)

Win some, lose some. Wish I could figure out how to win more.... Which brings up another question - If I want to determine what the path is of an external short cut (e.g. Excel spreadsheet) what is the best way? DFDM the menu tables? Thoughts?

Once you add one favorite to the favorites section then you do get a ""Favorites"" tab at the top of the launcher which displays all of your favorites. There is a lot more room for them. There is a ""ToolBar Mode"" button in the view which hides the drop down tree for those who don't like it. It doesn't convert existing tasks from the classic mode.
