Sage 100c Pricing This is so not funny, yet funny in a way that I had to post. We have a Sage 100 account with most of the modules and a 20 user license. They want to go down to 9 users so I asked Sage for pricing to stay with their current plan versus moving to 100c. Sage sent an e-mail stating their current annual perpetual silver business care plan would go down from $6,200 per year to $4,900 per year. Attached to the same e-mail was the 100c quote for $763.33 per month or $9,160 per year, an 88% increase. Should I recommend they stay with Sage 100 for $4,900 per year or move to 100c for $9,160/year? LOL (That new interface is just so cool!)

Are you coming to MOTM? Please bring the quote if you are and hand a copy of it to the Sage executive that will be leading the session titled: How to Sell Sage 100c along with the 88% increase.

That is crazy. Module base pricing Vs user basing is definitely different. If you have a lot of users. It adds up QUICK

Sage needs to allow for a variety of 100c licenses. Not everyone needs access to manufacturing or inventory. I bet if they segmented the licenses they would find pricing became comparable. Of course, Sage can continue to kid themselves about their market position for Sage 100 and wait until they have an opportunity to sell it to VC (this is the track they are on now).

Are you really expecting Sage to think from the customer perspective? When was the last time they did that? Unless the cancellation of the payroll price increase, I mean payroll enhancement webinar was evidence of brain activity.
