**Sage 100c Advanced PU1, WIN 2012 R2 Server, WIN 8.1 or WIN 10 Workstation** Finally upgraded my server from 2008 STD to 2012 R2 so I could start using 100c Advanced. Wow, knocking my sox off now!!! JK'g.... My first big test was running a PR import that has been working for the past 10 years. For some unknown reason, EVERY time I click on EXECUTE job, I get an error message that ""data files are not set up for company Lau"". Umm, I don't HAVE a company code Lau! I am importing into company SFS. I test some BF import jobs and they work fine. I create a new PR job by copying from the old one, it blows. I try to create a new PR job by clicking on ""insert required fields"" (but not tweaking it) and it blows up. I rename the VI0.soa file to force a recompiling of the VI, no dice. I run svcmpl from the run line for Payroll and that doesn't work. I finally key the client data to get the PR out the door but the problem still remains. Can someone run a test import on their 100c Advanced PU 1 installation to see if it is a Sage issue or just isolated for me? You don't need to actually import anything, just test to see if you can get to the final import panel? Any other thoughts?

How the heck did you find that?? I typed the message in exactly and nothing came back... Well I guess it will get fixed in a couple of months...

I searched on ""data files not"". If you look at the message, ""data files not setup"" doesn't make sense. It should read, ""data files not set up"". What a CF. How do you explain to a customer that the money and time you just spent to upgrade to the latest and greatest from Sage no longer imports payroll? That should go over big.

OMG - v2016 100c is out for over three months and the best they can say is that they are reviewing it??? The actual resolution is to switch to the Classic desktop where the import runs fine. Gives me a lot of confidence to even use the new ""Standard"". Attached is a PDF of the same KB Defect number... Thanks Doug for the quick insight. Hey, do you have the double decker bus (with keg) lined up yet for a Saturday PM 90Minds tour of the Windy City????

The double decker bus is great. I know you can catch it a Navy Pier once an hour or so. There is also an architectural river tour that is very popular. I will be happy to do the legwork. Just let me know what you want to do. you can't visit Chicago without hitting a jazz club,,, The Green Mill is my favorite followed closely by Jazz Showcase then Andy's.

feedback from Diane Coffman. She managed to get the issue expedited. Not sure why it wasn't elevated in the first place. Not being able to do something in the new and improved version when you can in the ""classic"" desktop seems to be an embarrassment.....

At least Sage isn't trying to sell 100c as an added price, extra feature upgrade to the existing 100 customer.
