Client is opening a Canadian bank account for Canadian vendor payments.  Does the Sage ACH DD work the same for Canada?  Need some advice.

    TIA

    Wow, that was fast!!!!  Thanks

In reading their fine print with my glasses on, it appears that they are asking about positive pay instead.  They dumped an 87 page RBC document last updated in 2015 on me as well.  Does anyone have the Cliff Note version of this?  Something like, here is the output spec all on one page???

We have worked with a company for positive pay for their Canada operation.  It was not a simple as most US files.  I might add that we create the file and then their IT staff has automated the process to connect to the bank for upload.  Something like what @Robert White mentions may be needed.

As Robert mentioned, each of the major Canadian banks has their own EFT file format, and using Scheduler is a big help in formatting.
Positive Pay... just read the bank's specification document and go through the Sage configuration wizard.  I've done that for TD, not RBC... but expect it should be possible without any external processing.  VC and a custom report are always an option too for PP.

We use a product from a company based in Vancouver area.  Export a file from Sage, import into The Scheduler, The Scheduler creates file that is uploaded to bank website.  It's called The Scheduler available at https://www.rbanderson.com/   Different Canadian banks have different formats, so you to order the bank specific version

It looks like The Scheduler software has an evaluation version.  You might be able to export data from Sage 100, import to The Scheduler and then see how the ACH (or whatever it is called) file is formatted.

@Jeff Schwenk,   @David Kilbourn and I created a Positive pay export  using Crystal reports and Visual cut.   It automatically kicked out a file each day.
