Sage 100

Sage 100c 2017 is scheduled to release 10/24. One week away (anyone heard anything different?). And we have no what's new guide, no channel wide email from Sage, no webinar to introduce new features (they did one webinar about a month ago with Fixed Assets which was poorly advertised and poorly attended). Perhaps, once you have your EU all on subscription and can end their service if they stop paying, you no longer need any of this?

Sage does't need to provide any new features either. EU is now paying rent to keep the software enabled, not for enhancements.

So why publish a What's New guide when nothing is new.

I just today got an email from Sage that was very disinterested and mostly ""if there'a anything to send we'll be sure you get a copy"". Why thank you very much. What a sad state of affairs.

I'm still going off this when people ask. It's been way quiet. Is Multi-Bin still awaiting a contract, I wonder?

Anyone have an update?

Apparently when it was released to developers a bug was found that needs to be fixed before a general release. Since there aren't any new features, it is likely that there are issues with the code to be able to turn off unpaid subscriptions. I may have to start advising people NOT to upgrade, since all they will get is a less reliable system. The names may change but fucus is still the corporate mantra...

Sage posted the download yesterday but I saw no other postings aside from a Sage City listing of ""new features"". Everyone involved with Sage 100 should be hiding underneath a desk at Sage in shame for how they're actively running this product into the ground. I know for most of them it's just a matter of buying time until they can get another job but customers are paying excellent money for maintenance and getting zero in return.
