Anyone have experience with Sage 100  complying with Saudi Arabia Einvoicing requirements? I see on Sage City, Sage 300, 500 & X3 have some suggestions on companies to use to integrate and I've reached out to them but wanted to see if this group has any suggestions specifically for Sage 100.

    https://zatca.gov.sa/en/E-Invoicing/Pages/default.aspx

    1. Integration with the Fatoora Portal: Businesses must integrate their e-invoicing solutions with ZATCA's Fatoora Portal, enabling real-time or near-real-time reporting of e-invoices.
    2. Mandatory Fields and Formats: E-invoices must include fields like UUID, cryptographic stamp, previous invoice hash, and QR codes. The invoices should be generated in XML or PDF/A-3 format with embedded XML.
    3. Timely Syncing: E-invoices need to be synced with ZATCA within a maximum of 24 hours.
    4. E-Invoice Types: The system should handle various types of invoices, such as standard tax invoices, simplified tax invoices, credit and debit notes, and more (KPMG) (PosBytz).

For businesses using Sage 100, ensuring compliance involves updating the ERP system to capture all required data fields, generate the correct formats, and establish a connection with ZATCA's system via APIs. Sage 100 users may need to work with their software provider or a third-party service to implement these integrations effectively.

Are you using Sage 100 for a client company in that location?  Vendors in that location?  Customers in that location?

Typically, those types of regulations would only apply to companies operating in that jurisdiction.

Yes  their Sage 100 ERP has a division in Saudi Arabia and would have vendors & customers in-country as well.

I don't have insights into Saudi, but am doing something similar for a client with an India location that they are bringing into their Sage 100... with an India government portal that has similar requirements (upload data for every shipment, within 24 hours...).  Luckily the client found a service provider to act as a bridge, and I only had to create CSV data (sent to them via SFTP), and the service provider handles the communications with the government portal.

(Mentioning this here in case it would be easier for you to find such a service provider to help with your project).

I recommend reviewing the confidential not for public release document in the Sage Partner Hub regarding restricted countries.  I don't know if it applies in this case (probably not).
