Where is that info from please? I didn't see that in the statement above. Here is what I know and it's confusing at first:.
Payroll prior to 2.0 was the same release level as the Sage install level. For example, if you had version 4.50 installed Payroll was the same 4.50, installed Sage 2015, then Payroll was version 2015. Starting with Payroll 2.0 the number to the right of the decimal denotes the release version. For example, there is Payroll 2.18 (current) and Payroll 2.19 will be released in December. Their idea is that you don't have to upgrade your customer from Sage 100 v 2018 to version 2019 to install Payroll 2.19. Payroll 2.## is independent of version, that is until something changes.
