In general I go the v2017 route the majority of the time, unless the client is already running 4.5 and therefore I'll just drop in PU8 instead. Coincidentally this morning I was Upgrading an old 4.30 system to v2025 (client got infected and they were only able to find an uninfected Sage 100 instance from 8 years ago on an old server). But I completely forgot about the 4.5/v2017 interim step since I haven't done one in a while, so of course I had already installed v2025 only to then uninstall it, install v2017, reinstall v2025...

@David Overholt @Wayne Schulz I should have looked for that document. I knew it was out there. If we notice any changes or "edits" Wayne, we will updated or advice so it can be updated. Thank you all!

hmmm. I thought we were looking for v4.05 PU8. So here is another questions @Brett Zimmerman for @Buffy Lubinski. Client is at v4.05.0.0 and needs to get to v2025. What "hops" or what "steps do they need?" Can we go from v4.05.0.0 to v4.50.8, then onward?

It is already in the Content Library (under Sage 100 4.50, which is under file storage > Sage 100 > installation files). You wrote 4.05 above so were you maybe just looking in the wrong folder? :)
