  • 1.  Sage 100 v2024 64-Bit Service and 32-Bit running in Task Manager

    I am a little curious as to why on my v2024 Advanced 64-Bit installation, they have both 32-Bit and 64-Bit services running in Task Manager.  I'm confused... Any idea why "both" services would be running?  The tasks start even after a reboot.  Just curious as to why/what?  And they are on occasionally reporting they are out of users.  Could these tasks be using two Sage licenses?  I don't believe I have seen any other clients with both of these tasks running.  Thoughts?

    One is the Bootstrap (launcher) and the other is the actual program.  Initially Sage made it so you had to manually edit the service to run the 64-bit program, but they later updated it so the 32-bit program started the 64-bit program automatically.

    I did not realize this @Kevin Moyes and never noticed it elsewhere.  Thank you for always filling in the "gaps".
