    Sage 100 v2018.5 Premium - one workstation won't get past ""workstation sync"". I am told that I am running as local admin. Have tried running in ""mas90 mode"" as per KB - no luck. Have continued to run as Admin and I get the workstation sync, it appears to complete, then another workstatation sync starts. Then it appears to complete with no error. If I run Sage 100 on this workstation the process starts again with workstation sync. Other workstations are fine.

    Check for file extension associations that are incorrect, i.e., "".vbs"" associated to Word. I had that happen on an install and once I removed the _odd_ file association, the install completed.

    or it might be a permission issue. .. turn off UAC

    I checked VBS and it seemed to be ok (clicking a test vbs opened the right program). They have UAC off. It's bizarre because the sync just kicks off again each time you try to start Sage. I'm pretty sure it's some type of rights issue but we all know how those conversations go ... culminating in ""I'm 100% sure that I have admin rights""...

    Check for other incorrect file associations - VBS was my issue, but it could be another file association too. List some stats if you don't' mind: what is the op system of the workstation, is it 32 or 64 bit and was their a prior version of Sage installed on it?

    Customer says that they had to turn UAC back on and once they did they were presented with a prompt as to whether to update registry. This somehow resolved.
