Sage 100 v2018 - California. California has always had a Unemployment Insurance tax (UI) and a Employment Training Tax (ETT) as two separate taxes. In prior Sage version, these were combined and the user had to separate them when filing the DE9. Now they are separately calculated (good), but the Quarterly Tax Report only shows the UI tax and NOT the ETT (bad). I have updated to PR 2018.2 and SP3 but no change. This is confusing because my client uses the Quarterly Tax Report to verify their totals and now they do not match. Has anyone dealt this this before I contact Sage?

Since the reports are now Crystal, could you not modify the quarterly report and save yourself the aggravation of contacting Sage?

I would like to know what you find out @JonParkinson . I am in the process of doing an upgrade to 2018 of a CA payroll company.

It appears the .1% ETT tax is lumped into ""Other"" on the report. This also includes other things so difficult to reconcile. I modified the report in Crystal to include the ETT in the Unemployment Column, and renamed it UT +ETT so it can be used by my client.
